The ‘Beach Club’ star coaxes the comedian and his friends into taking off their blindfolds in the sketch for ‘Tonight Show’.
Jimmy Fallon’s bid to reach to safety was ruined by Lindsay Lohan in a spoof to Sandra Bullock’s movie “Bird Box”. The sketch, which aired during the Monday, January 7 episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, opened with the host giving instructions to members of the house band The Roots and sidekick/producer Steve Higgins before their journey backstage.
“I’m only going to say this once,” he says. “We are going on the trip now, but you have to do every single thing I say. And here’s the most important thing, under no circumstance are you allowed to take off your blindfold. If we look at what’s out there, we will not make it. We cannot look.”
Fallon leads the way out of the room and into the halls of Studio 6B, walking while touching the wall for guidance. When they arrived at a dressing room, they thought they were safe and took off their blindfolds, until they heard Lohan’s voice.
“Hi, guys,” she said, while happily dancing. Surprised, Fallon told his friends while trying to close his eyes, “Try not to look! It’s worse than I thought!” The 32-year-old actress tempted the guys, “Come on join! It’s fun.”
Fallon and his friends eventually surrendered and joined Lohan in a choreographed routine. “This is fun! Just like in Mykonos,” the former “Saturday Night Live” cast member admitted. But Questlove who stayed in the corner was not tempted, saying, “I’m going to put my blindfold back on,” as he left the room.
Lohan is making her return to the small screen with MTV’s reality series “Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club”. The show, which premieres Tuesday, January 8 at 8/7c, follows the “Mean Girls” star as she expands her business empire with the launch of Lohan Beach House in Mykonos, Greece. The exclusive seaside destination serves as the backdrop as Lindsay manages eight American ambassadors hired to staff the club and its restaurant. Lindsay is a no-nonsense boss, and she needs her team to come together to help bring her vision to life.
