The Nick Fury depicter confirms one of Captain Marvel’s super powers that is possibly the key to save the universe from Thanos’ snap in the upcoming and final ‘Avengers’ film.

AceShowbiz –
As Marvel still keeps the plot details of “Avengers: Endgame” under wraps, speculations continue swirling on the Internet as to how the remaining superheroes will save the day after Thanos’ snap. The most recent theory claims that Captain Marvel holds the key to humans’ survival in the upcoming movie.

It’s Brie Larson’s “Captain Marvel” co-star Samuel L. Jackson who has seemingly dropped the major spoiler, when he revealed Captain Marvel’s super power. During E! News’ set visit, the actor casually said, “She’s one of the few people in the Marvel Universe that can time travel.”

It has been long speculated that “Endgame” will feature time travel, but most of the theories linked that time-traveling part to Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), who somehow escaped from the Quantum Realm after “Ant-Man and the Wasp”. With this revelation, it’s possible that Captain Marvel will travel back in time to reverse the outcome of Thanos’ snap.

Jackson appeared to have high confidence in Captain Marvel a.k.a. Carol Danvers, telling E! News of the character, “She’s pretty much the strongest character in terms of someone with powers that are able to do things in the Marvel Universe, so for Carol Danvers to be that person-and for Brie to become that person-it’s gonna be a dynamite thing.”

“I mean, they’re up against some really, really tough odds right now we saw throughout ‘Infinity War’,” he added of Danvers’ role in “Endgame”, “So now we know we need something that’s as powerful as Thanos. And at some point, we’ll find out how powerful she is and all the things that she’s capable of.”

“Captain Marvel” screenwriter Markus McFeely, meanwhile, said that he “talked a lot” with “Endgame” directors Anthony Russo and Joe Russo to ensure they were “on the same page” about how Captain Marvel’s performance would “be perceived in both movies.”

“It really is a self-contained story and it will tell you everything about that character who shows up in ‘Avengers 4’. But really, it’s the story of Captain Marvel very specifically,” Schwartz explained. “It will lead very organically into what you saw at the end of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, and it will lead very organically into what you will see in ‘Avengers 4’.”

He added, “But for the movie itself, it’s its own self-contained adventure. And I think that’s kind of what’s fun about these movies: You get a full, complete satisfying experience that has tendrils reaching into other branches of the cinematic universe…if you’re looking for them.”

“Captain Marvel” will be released on March 8 in the U.S., followed by “Avengers: Endgame” on April 26.
