The Alfonso Cuaron-directed drama collects three accolades, Ethan Hawke’s ‘First Reformed’ takes home two, and Regina Hall nabs Best Actress for ‘Support the Girls’.
Alfonso Cuaron and his acclaimed film “Roma” have been given a huge Oscars boost after picking up major honours from the New York Film Critics Circle.
Cuaron was named Best Director and his movie Best Film after four hours of deliberations on Thursday, November 28.
There were also big wins for Regina Hall and Ethan Hawke, who scored the acting prizes, and Bo Burnham, who landed the Best First Film prize for “Eighth Grade”.
