It’s no secret that women in the rap game experience serious discrimination compared to their male counterparts nor is it a secret that female rappers are often pinned against each other.

Whether it’s competition about how they dress or speculations that a man wrote their rhymes, one rapper is sick of the BS.

During a live interview with Genius, it was mentioned that Nicki Minaj is overprotective of her brand. Let’s just say it didn’t sit well with the “Chun-Li” rapper, who quickly interrupted interviewer and veteran hip-hop journalist, Rob Markman.

“Excuse me! When Floyd Mayweather gets in the ring does he try to knock you the f*ck out or does he try to wipe your a** and kiss and play footsie?” Nicki passionately questioned.

The crowd erupted in laughter.

“Like what the f*** is this now? You n*ggas don’t want rappers to be hard, you don’t want rappers to be aggressive?”

During the full interview, the 35-year-old ‘Queen’ rapper also noted that there was ‘drought’ in female rappers and that although she’s all about opening doors, she’s not feeling how the new generation of female rappers are being trained to disrespect her.

“So in no way shape or form do I not think it’s a good thing to open doors, because doors were opened for me,” Nicki shared. “Go on YouTube and see how many times I said b*tches’ names!” before adding, “But y’all training new bitches to come in and disrespect me!”

Things got heated, and clearly, Nicki’s is not going to bite her tongue.
