There seems to be trouble within the dynamic of the co-hosts of The Real as it is being reported that Adrienne Bailon and Jeannie Mai are currently at odds with Tamera Mowry-Housley, and it all allegedly concerns money and expression.
According to the Daily Mail, tensions initially rose among the ladies over the actress’ high-paying salary.
Mowry-Housley is reportedly the highest paid of the bunch, with Loni Love coming in as a close second. Bailon and Mai are allegedly only being paid a third of the other ladies’ salaries.
Things reportedly worsened, earlier this year, when the Sister, Sister star and the comedian refused to speak up in helping their two lesser paid co-hosts receive raises. The site reports that threats of a staged walkout soon followed as a result of the discrepancy.
In addition to the salary disputes, the women reportedly no longer click with their admittedly conservative co-panelist as she “isn’t keeping it real” with viewers. Mowry-Housley is further being accused of refusing to acknowledge her Republican political views and reportedly dances around her alleged support of Donald Trump in the 2016 election, on air.
An insider further added that the working relationships among the ladies began to deteriorate back in April following the show’s Emmy win.
“Once they won the Emmy, Jeannie and Adrienne started complaining about how they knew they weren’t being compensated the same as their fellow co-hosts, Loni and Tamera,” an insider told the site. “They were even talking about staging a walkout… Initially, they wanted both Tamera and Loni to support them in their quest to get better deals on the show, but when both ladies declined that definitely meant that lines were drawn.”
None of the ladies have publicly addressed these claims in any way.
