Meanwhile, the new season 11 of the Bravo reality show sees disastrous ratings following the exit of Kenya.
NeNe Leakes is apparently coming at Kenya Moore for being thirsty for attention. “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” took to Instagram to seemingly shade her former co-star for sharing a pic of her baby daughter Brooklyn Doris just hours before the Bravo show aired on November 11.
NeNe then posted a picture of a laughing emoji just after Kenya shared a snap of her daughter’s tiny hand. “I can’t wit the calculations on Sunday’s #thethirstisreal #weseeyou #wacks**t,” NeNe wrote in the caption.
The response from Kenya’s fans might be so overwhelming that NeNe decided to turn off the comments so they wouldn’t be coming at her for the shade.
In related news, firing Kenya was probably not a good idea as “RHOA”, Bravo’s highest rated franchise, had disastrous ratings following the departure of Kenya. According to Radar Online, season 11 of “RHOA” debuted with only 1.93 million viewers, marking the lowest season opener since season five.
After the producers of the show kicked Kenya, she seemingly was trying to scam her way back into the show by showing up uninvited at Chyntia Bailey’s baby shower, knowing that there would be cameras to film the event.
“Kenya was there and they were filming, but there’s no guarantee the scenes will make it into the season,” an insider previously shared to Us Weekly. “Bravo wasn’t expecting her. Production was surprised that Kenya showed,” a second source said, adding that Kandi Burruss was the one who brought Kenya along to the bash.
Echoing the report, another source claimed to Radar Online that Kenya was unwelcomed at the party. “Kenya overplayed her cards. She thought by showing up and creating drama it would get her back on the show. It won’t,” said the source. The source went on alleging that Kenya attempted to confront NeNe at the party for air time. However, the latter “wants nothing to do with her.”
The source continued, “NeNe avoided Kenya the whole night and she and Bravo have made it clear that no matter what kind of tricks Kenya tries to come up with, they’re onto her and she’s not coming back to the show.”
