Hours after news of their breakup hit the internet, the hotel heiress shares on Instagram a quote from Marilyn Monroe that seemingly hints at troubles in their relationship.
Paris Hilton shocked almost everyone when report of her splitting from fiance of nearly one year, Chris Zylka, hit the internet. The news understandably came as a surprise, considering that the couple has always seemed so happy whenever they were out together. However, it appears troubles linger in their relationship, as hinted by the hotel heiress through her latest Instagram post.
Shared on Monday, November 19, just hours after the breakup news broke, it featured a black-and-white picture of Paris dressing up as Marilyn Monroe. The post might look normal at first until you see its caption that raised eyebrows.
Quoting her favorite Marilyn’s lines, Paris wrote, “I believe that everything happens for a reason. People change so that you can learn to let go. Things go wrong so that you can appreciate them when they’re right. You believe lies so you eventually learn to trust no one but yourself. And sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”
So did Paris just hint that there was indeed trouble in paradise in their relationship with this post? After all, a source recently told E! News that the alleged exes “have been having issues for over six months now.”
The insider added, “They pushed back the wedding because Paris was having cold feet and didn’t know if she was ready to marry him. They had a great run and they really loved each other, but she knew he was not her forever guy and could not go through the whole process while having these feelings.”
Despite shocking many of her fans, news of their breakup allegedly didn’t surprise their inner circle since they already knew there were troubles when Paris decided to push back the wedding. In addition, the two had been living separately for several months, according to the insider. “No one thought a wedding was really going to happen. Paris wants a wedding and children but not necessarily a life with Chris,” the source continued.
Paris and Chris got engaged last year during a New Year’s vacation in Aspen, Colorado.
