Produced by Scott Storch, the ’90s-inspired jam finds Breezy expressing his hesitation to fully commit to a woman, even though he loves her so bad.
Following a year of lack of new music, Chris Brown is starting off the new year by treating fans to a new song. The “Run It” hitmaker unearthed a single entitled “Undecided” on Thursday, January 3 which samples Shanice’s 1991 chart-topping hit “I Love Your Smile”.
Produced by Scott Storch, the ’90s-inspired jam finds Breezy expressing his hesitation to fully commit to a woman, even though he loves her so bad. “I’m undecided, excited, excited/ And I don’t wanna feel the way I do, but I like it,” he sings in the chorus. “Look at all these sparks flyin’/ But I’m still indecisive/ ‘Cause you want me to wife you/ But I’m undecided.”
Breezy will also release an accompanying music video of the song. He previously shared a teaser clip of the visuals on his Instagram account. The clip shows him walking into an amusement park in the dark as he appears to be having no clues as to why he comes there.
“Undecided” will be among the new material for his upcoming album “Indigo”. Breezy previously teased the album on Instagram Stories, “No cap… This music I got cooking in the oven!!!! After the holidays we getting right to it! I promise… never been one to brag, but I’m pushing myself harder and harder to make sure you feel it and it helps you internally.”
The new album will be a follow-up to his ambitious 2017 effort “Heartbreak on a Full Moon”. Featuring 45 tracks, the album received positive reviews from music critics and debuted at No. 3 on Billboard 200, becoming his ninth consecutive top ten album on the chart. In addition to that, it has been certified platinum by the RIAA and was ranked as the 28th most popular album of 2018 on Billboard 200.
