Reports that the ‘Taking Chances’ singer is pulling ‘I’m Your Angel’ from various music streaming services come just days after GaGa apologized for working with the ‘I Believe I Can Fly’ hitmaker.

AceShowbiz –
Celine Dion is reportedly pulling her collaboration with embattled singer R. Kelly from various music streaming services.

The “I Believe I Can Fly” hitmaker is facing renewed scrutiny following the premiere of Lifetime documentary “Surviving R.Kelly” earlier this month (January 2019). The film chronicled the stories of women who claimed to have been allegedly physically and sexually abused by the singer. The 52-year-old has also been accused of having relationships with underage girls.

Kelly has denied all accusations against him, but it seems many of his famous friends and collaborators are choosing not to support him any longer and last week (ends January 11), Lady GaGa pulled her “Do What U Want”, collaboration with Kelly from streaming sites like iTunes, and apologised for working with him.

“I stand behind these women 1000 per cent, believe them, know they are suffering and in pain, and feel strongly that their voices should be heard and taken seriously,” she said. “What I am hearing about the allegations against R. Kelly is absolutely horrifying and indefensible.”

“I can’t go back, but I can go forward and continue to support… victims of sexual assault… I intend to remove this song off of iTunes and other streaming platforms and will not be working with him again. I’m sorry, both for my poor judgement when I was young and for not speaking out sooner. I love you.”

According to TMZ, the “My Heart Will Go On” singer is following suit and removing 1998’s “I’m Your Angel”, which was written by Kelly and appeared on Celine’s holiday album “These are Special Times”. Dion has yet to comment on the controversy surrounding the accusations against the R&B singer.
