It looks like 2019 will be a really busy year for Ariana Grande. In addition to working on her new album, preparing for her own tour and Coachella set, the pop princess is reportedly set to headline the 2019 Lollapalooza which will take place on August 1-4 in Chicago’s Grant Park.

According to Variety, which first reported the news, the official lineup will not be revealed until the third week of March. Thus, fans may have to wait around two months before they know whether or not their idol will really be headlining the festival.

The publication also claimed that Ariana had been in discussions about headlining Lollapalooza “for several months,” unlike her Coachella deal which reportedly came together very quickly when she was brought in to replace Kanye West. It was previously reported that the “I Love It” hitmaker dropped out of the famed fest because the organizers refused to build him a giant dome.

Ariana’s team did not immediately respond to request for comment regarding her Lollapalooza participation.

In related news, the former Nickelodeon star is set to release a new single entitled “7 Rings” and its music video which will serve as the follow-up to “Imagine” and the mega hit “Thank U, Next”. She recently took to social media to share a snippet of the visuals.

Dominated with pink colors, the clip features Ariana and a handful of her friends dancing in various scenes while being surrounded by cars, hotels, bottles and graffiti. Most of the grafitti was written in Japanese. In the caption of the post, the “No Tears Left to Cry” singer announced that both song and music video would be released on Friday, January 18.

Talking about the inspiration behind the song back in December 2018, Ariana explained that she got an idea to write the single after buying seven of her friends ring in New York City. “It was very insane and funny. & on the way back to the stu njomza was like, ‘b***h, this gotta be a song lol’. So we wrote it that afternoon,” she said at the time.
