After the ‘Power’ star was slammed by Ja Rule for distancing himself from the incarcerated rapper, a lawyer reveals Fif tried to help 6ix9ine by hiring him when the ‘FEFE’ hitmaker was arrested for federal racketeering charges.

A lawyer has come to 50 Cent’s defense after he’s accused of disowning his former prodigy Tekashi69 a.k.a. 6ix9ine. Attorney Isaac Wright Jr., who was wrongfully convicted of being a New York and New Jersey-area drug kingpin in the early 1990s, took to his Instagram page on Tuesday, September 10 to reveal that the actor/rapper tried to help 6ix9ine by hiring him when the 23-year-old star was arrested for federal racketeering charges.

“The behind the scenes TRUE STORY that did not come out on the @breakfastclubam interview is that @50cent tried to help 69. 50 called me and asked me to represent 69,” Isaac wrote. “I went to check him [6ix9ine] at MDC in Brooklyn. When I got there, they gave me an excuse that he was in Court then immediately transferred him to Queens detention.”

Isaac regretted that 6ix9ine chose to snitch while he claimed that he would’ve been able to help free the “FEFE” hitmaker. The lawyer shared, “When I went to Queens, 69 refused to see me. That’s when it was clear he was cooperating. Sad part is, he didn’t have to do that. I would have got him off without him having to sell his soul…”

Isaac revealed 50 Cent’s effort to help 6ix9ine after the “Power” star declared during an appearance on HOT 97’s “The Breakfast Club” earlier that day that he no longer wants to hear from his “Get the Strap” collaborator. “No, I haven’t spoken to him,” he said, when asked by co-host Charlamagne Tha God if 6ix9ine has reached out to him from jail.

Charlamagne asked again, “Would you answer?”, to which 50 Cent said with a laugh, “No!” It prompted Charlamagne to reiterate, “That was your son, Fif!” Not showing any sympathy, Fif explained, “Yeah I know, but he’s his mother’s child now. When you do s**t like that, you’re your mama’s child. Don’t call me! Don’t call me!”

It’s likely that 50 Cent was referring to 6ix9ine pleading guilty to federal charges and agreeing to cooperate with federal authorities back in January.

50 Cent, however, remains optimistic about 6ix9ine’s music career, believing that fans would embrace him once again if he made the “right record.” He said on Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning”, “If he made the record, I believe the audience will play it. They don’t care [about his snitching.]”

Following 50 Cent’s interview on “The Breakfast Club”, Ja Rule blasted the “In da Club” hitmaker. “Pot calling the kettle black,” he commented on the interview, adding a rat emoji. He didn’t stop there, writing in another comment, “Here come all the d**k riders. I love making you nut guzzlers BIG MAD… your hero 50 a h*e I would @ him but I’m blocked… punk motherf**ker can dish it can’t take it. [Charlamagne tha God] come get your mans.”
